Closing the Wealth Gap: Black in Tech

Feb 25, 2021, 12:00 – 1:30 AM

Join Blacsana, Asana's Employee Resource Group for Black employees, as we are joined by leaders and experts in the tech and financial industries to learn how to build and maintain wealth, and invest in the Black community.

About this event

As the Black tech workforce grows, so does the need to have conversations around navigating your career and how to manage through events like equity, IPOs, and everything in between. Blacsana, Asana's Employee Resource Group for Black employees, invites you to learn about these topics from leaders and experts in the tech and financial industries. We are excited to have folks joining us from Slack, Bloomberg Philanthropies, Career Karma, and Kapor Capital to talk about building and maintaining wealth, creating stepping stones for future generations, and investing in the Black community.

This month at Asana, we celebrate Black History by connecting with our community and having conversations around how the tech sector can become a driving force in reaching economic mobility – specifically for the Black community. Systemic inequities have created a history of wealth disparities and inequality in America, and we recognize that only through wealth creation and policy can these inequities be addressed.
