About this event

Asana’s Return to Work Program

This industry-leading initiative is a 18-week immersive program designed to support those who have left the workforce, or were under-employed, for 2 years or longer and are looking to re-enter. At the end of the 18-week term, those who have demonstrated their abilities to succeed and have an impact at Asana will be considered for a full-time position.

About This Event

We’ve designed this workshop to give a boost to Returnship candidates as they re-launch their engineering career. Together with our assessment partner CodeSignal, we will take a close look at General Coding Assessment (GCA), the popular standardized coding test that you will encounter in Asana’s interview process. Taking this test is the first step in the Asana process. We'll prepare you with both the skills and confidence to partake in Asana's coding assessment.

Asana + CodeSignal team will cover:

  • The Asana interview process
  • General Coding Assessment (GCA) overview including its structure and format
  • How to best prepare for GCA

After this event you will walk away with:

  • Information on how to be successful through Asana’s coding assessment
  • Insight on the overall interview process with Asana and what to expect for each stage
  • An understanding of what General Coding Assessment (GCA) is
  • A clear idea on how to prepare for GCA
  • Access to our GCA preparation guides with practice problems

This event is for you if you align to the following qualifications:

  • 2.5+ years experience building software solutions in a corporate or start-up engineering environment, or equivalent, using an industry standard language (e.g. Java, Python, C++, JavaScript)
  • 1+ years experience designing and completing medium to large scale features independently without guidance
  • Must be out of the workforce for 2 years or longer immediately prior to the start of the program
